• We invite talented designers ages 16 - 25 to showcase their skills and create unique designs from their own imagination that embodies Polynesian art and values.

The theme of the contest is “Mana & Motifs: Celebrating Polynesian Artistry”. As a company, we have a lot of pride in our work when it comes to design as we pull inspiration from different polynesian cultures aside from our homeland of Samoa. We use different elements in our designs to express our love and appreciation for the different polynesian cultures from the flora and fauna of the pacific to the traditional tatau symbols that have been passed down through the generations. With that being said, we will have different categories for entrants to enter their work. 

• Flora & Fauna of the Pacific - Focus on the rich biodiversity of Polynesian islands and feature a plant(s), flower(s), and/or animal(s) prevalent in the region.
• Sacred Symbols - Highlight sacred and symbolic motifs that hold cultural significance in Polynesian communities.
• Cultural Fusion - Blend traditional Polynesian elements with modern design techniques, showing the evolution of Polynesian art.

• $250 Cash Prize
• Design featured as collection

Overall 3rd Place:

• Entrants must be 16 - 25 years of age by the date of their submission.
• Entrants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent.
• Must be a resident of the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii.

Only 3 submissions are allowed per entrant. Any additional submissions will not be submitted for review. Click here to enter.

• Dimensions: Minimum 2000 x 2000 pixels

 Each entrant must submit a clear and high resolution image of their design.

Along with the design, entrants will provide a brief description explaining the inspiration behind their print design. (min. 100 words)

All fields of information must be filled out to the fullest extent. Any incomplete applications will not be submitted for review.
